Our Teaching Philosophy

Our teaching philosophy

We know that math can be hard, and we know that everyone thinks about math in their own, individual way. Therefore, we teach by understanding how you think, and tailor each lesson to that way of thinking. In this way we guide the student to discover the path for themself, with the accompanying thrill and excitement of mastery that follow. We encourage learning through making mistakes, thinking for yourself logically and critically, and by having a sharp break with the rigidity that often characterizes math in school.

We teach with energy and excitement and have worked with math through engineering studies for years. Our teaching experience spans both in-person and online ages 12-21 privately, and higher ages as a Teaching Assistant at university
